This Expeditions: Rome Olympian sidequest guide will lead you through the entire mission from start to end to help you with your decisions and the riddle answers. Not everything is as straightforward as it may seem.
How to Start the Olympian Sidequest in Expeditions: Rome
It looks like Boethus bears a grudge against Syneros; his father was beaten by your trusty advisor during his days as a Pankration gladiator. Boethus wants a fight, but Syneros is already too old.
There are a couple of ways you could avoid a confrontation in the Olympian sidequest. However, we suggest agreeing to a contest and letting Bestia take Syneros’ place. Your aggressive companion will trounce the poor challenger. Still, even the sidequest’s notification tells you that it’s not over yet.
How to Solve the Riddles of Diodoros
The next part of the Olympian sidequest in Expeditions: Rome happens much later. In our experience, this occurred after we conquered multiple regions and finished the section in the Gladiator School.
When we next returned to camp, a man named Diodoros approached us. He’s Boethus’ father, the same man cheated by Syneros in a competition decades ago. He’ll challenge Syneros to a game of riddles, and you should accept.
Several questions will be asked in this part of the Olympian sidequest. If you chose the Logos rhetoric style at the start of the campaign, you’ll have additional responses with the right answers. If not, then you’ll have to get everything right since one mistake will cause the quest to fail. Don’t worry because we’ve got you covered.
